Order rules

I. Online Booking Process

Reservations are made using the reservation system as follows:

  • The Customer is given the opportunity to choose the standard accommodation offered in the booking table.
  • The Customer can choose the dates for the selected room after having been informed of the room types and prices.
  • Once the Customer has selected the offer, it is proceeded to the next step — the form, where the Customer indicates their personal data and comments regarding the reservation.
  • After filling in the details, the Customer can make the advance payment through the system.

    NOTE: All documents issued by JSC Dia solis to the guest (e.g. invoices, spa programmes/procedures) and the confidentiality and non-disclosure of the data they contain to third parties are the responsibility of the guest.
II Payment and cancellation of the reservation
  • Reservations are guaranteed upon receipt of prepayment by card or bank transfer within 2 working days of the booking date. If the reservation is accepted later than 2 days before arrival, the advance payment will be made on the same day, or a credit card number will be left.
  • Guaranteed reservations can be rescheduled at the Customers request to another date at their convenience, up to 5 working days (10 working days in high season) before the arrival date. Non-guaranteed reservations will be cancelled.
  • It is allowed to cancel or transfer the reservation without a cancellation fee up to 3 working days (10 working days in high season) before the arrival date. If the guest fails to arrive without cancelling the reservation or cancels less than 3 working days (less than 10 working days in high season) before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 100% of the price of the one-night programme. This amount will be deducted from the deposit.
  • Payment and cancellation conditions for travel agencies/companies are stipulated in the contracts and in the advance invoices.
  • The reservation can be guaranteed by a gift voucher held until the expiry date.
  • If the services using the gift voucher have been booked and are not cancelled by the guest or rescheduled at least 3 working days (10 working days in high season) before the date of arrival, they will be considered used. No refunds will be made after the expiry date. No exchange of a valid voucher for cash and no refund.
III Rules for the gift vouchers purchase
  • The gift voucher must be kept as a security.
  • The Coupon Code may not be disclosed to any third party. Please be aware that unscrupulous persons may take advantage of the services meant to be provided for the Customer if they become aware of the Coupon Code, so please ensure that it is not disclosed.
  • In the event of loss or disclosure of the Coupon Code to third parties, the services under this Coupon will not be provided to you.
  • The Gift Voucher confirms the holder's entitlement to use the amount or service specified therein.
  • If the desired purchase amount exceeds the value of the Gift Voucher, the difference can be paid in cash or by credit card.
  • If the holder of a gift voucher purchases services for less than the amount stated on the voucher, the remaining amount will not be refunded to the holder.
  • Gift vouchers can only be used for services at Monist Hotel.
  • According to the interpretation of the STI, a VAT invoice is not required for the purchase of a gift voucher, as the cost of the gift vouchers given to persons with whom the company seeks to establish new business relations or to improve existing ones at a representative event may be charged as a representation expense. These costs are only deductible if legally binding documents support them:o documents evidencing the payment of money (cash receipts issued by the company distributing the gift vouchers, cash register receipts or bank transfers);o free-form representation event certificates drawn up by the head of the company or their delegate and the chief financial officer or their delegate.
  • The gift voucher is valid 6 (six) months from the issue date.
  • The gift voucher is not redeemable for cash.
  • Gift voucher is non-renewable.
IV Final provisions
  • The Customer must provide the correct details on the booking form. The Hotel shall not be liable for incorrectly selected arrival or departure dates nor for incorrectly entered other data by the Customer.
  • The Hotel or the online booking company shall not be liable for the unavailability of the system through no fault of their own or for any other malfunction beyond their control.
V Confirmation of the Terms and Conditions

By checking "I have read the Regulations", the Customer declares that they have understood and accept the terms and conditions contained in the Regulations. Failure to accept the Terms and Conditions will result in the reservation not working.

Respecting the right to privacy and confidentiality of personal data of its guests and interested parties, JSC Dia Solis undertakes to process the data obtained during registration and the stay in a proper and fair manner, and not to disclose such data to third parties, unless obliged by law.

The Privacy Policy reflects the data processing practices of JSC Dia solis with regard to the data of guests and interested persons.

  1. Collecting information

JSC Dia solis complies with the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The following information about the Guests is collected by the Sales and Marketing Departments of JSC Dia solis, website www.monist.lt

In order to provide quality service to its guests, to protect the property of its guests, and to ensure security and privacy during their stay, JSC Dia Solis collects data about its guests through:

  1. e-marketing - by guest consent,
  2. video recordings (using the services provided by JSC Dia solis, when visiting Monist), and recording of telephone conversations (by calling JSC Dia solis, the contact phone number),
  3. by phone or email (for corporate services),
  4. electronic booking systems (for booking company services).

  1. Use of personal information

JSC Dia Solis uses guests' personal data for the following purposes:

  1. providing accommodation, health and other services;
  2. handling orders, registration processes and enquiries;
  3. sending pre-registration cards, invoices and quality assessment forms to customers;
  4. by sending you information about our services and special offers (if you agree to receive such information);
  5. to ensure the safety of guests.
  6. Transmission of personal data

Under no circumstances will personal data provided by guests be provided to third parties, except in the following cases:

  1. insurance companies, if the guest is insured and uses services paid for by the insurance company,
  2. if it is necessary for the proper and high-quality performance of services within the company (e.g.: service providers, doctors can share the necessary information about the guest with each other if it is necessary for the proper, personalised, top-quality performance of services),
  3. law enforcement authorities in accordance with the procedure provided for in the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania,
  4. if you have consented to the disclosure of your Personal Data in cases not listed above.

With your consent, we will contact you by phone or email for direct marketing purposes and will only send you information about offers tailored to you that may be of interest to you. You can adjust the receipt of this information at any time by contacting us at duomenuapsauga@monist.lt

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes, without giving reasons for your objection, and to request in writing the rectification of incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate personal data.

We will retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this privacy policy. For the purposes of subscriptions and direct marketing, data will be retained for a maximum period of 5 years. The retention periods for video and audio recordings are set out in the JSC Dia Solis Video Data Policy.

You have the right to access the Personal Data we hold about you. In order to find out what Personal Data we have collected or received and from what sources, for what purposes it is processed and whether all your Personal Data is complete and correct, you must contact us in advance from the email address provided to us. We do not provide such information by telephone.

You also have the right to:

  1. request us in writing, by email or by telephone to suspend the processing of Personal Data,
  2. to find out what data we process about you,
  3. be forgotten, request that we delete the data we have processed about you,
  4. request that we transfer the data we process about you to another personal data controller,
  5. by not agreeing to the Privacy Policy, to object to the processing of your Personal Data,
  6. by immediately expressing your opposition or by providing a subsequent notice to object to the processing of your Personal Data for Direct Marketing purposes.

By ordering our services, you consent to the use of your Personal Data for the purpose of fulfilling the accommodation service. You agree in advance that we have the right to store your Personal Data on a server, in the cloud, to the extent necessary in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

Any request or instruction relating to the processing of Personal Data must be made to us in writing in one of the following ways:

  1. by delivering such request or instruction directly to us at Vytauto str. 88a, 00132 Palanga,
  2. by sending such a request or instruction to duomenuapsauga@monist.lt
  3. Upon receipt of such a request or instruction from you, we will respond and carry out the actions specified in the request. You will receive a written reply within 10 days,
  4. We may use your IP address to administer our services and website and to diagnose potential problems.
